I will try to get some pictures of bugs and tarantulas for Cole tomorrow. One of these pictures has me getting hosed down. Marco, the haitian boy i told you about yesterday decided i was too dirty today so he sprayed me down with the hose when I was digging, he told you dirty man, you need bath. At the end of the day when the storm hit he told me and Sandy, Tonys brother, that we had to stay in the rain to get clean. These kids we have have working with us are sharp, Jason is 19 and Marco is 17. Marco works on other parts of the compound but comes down to see us on most of his breaks. Jason is a very hard worker and wants to learn everything he can, since the earthquake hit in January, he has taught himself english and spanish by reading books. He held a full conversation with Pavel today.
We had help from some Haitian concrete finishers today and we started extra early after biscuits and gravy for breakfast (Dustin's Favorite). We got the entire slab poured and finished. And another fabulous bonus ICE COLD SODA, an air conditioned tent to weather the major storm and a MOVIE! When the storms do come . . . they come in a fury! We throw everything into storage and run! Thankfully today it did not roll in until around 4pm, so everyone got to call it a day early and have some time to relax and fellowship!
