Love Milk . . .

Valentine's day is around the bend! Around here I am a hand made monster . . . if you ever get a gift from me chances are it was made with love and an even greater chance my hands were involved every step of the way ;) Today is another rainy day, and I have been a highly un-motivated little girl, until I realized next week is Valentine's day already, YIKES! It is a rare occassion that the little ones in my family don't get something from Auntie Amber's house, and I just cannot disappoint them this year. I know it is not Christmas but something you need to know about me is that any holiday, big or small gets me in the mood to create and give. So this year for my too sweet Niece, 5 Nephews, and my son, I decided not to dig so deep. I forget that simple things are sometimes more exciting than grand and elaborate. And let's be honest, anything that has sugar inside isn't going to last long anyways! So here it is

The Schumacher Valentine 2010:

Supplies:

1. Nestle Strawberry Milk (I large container makes about 4 large Love Milk gifts)

*Also to show some love to my inlaws I went with 25% less sugar*

2. Disposable piping bags (Also called decorating bags found in the cake isle at the craft store)

3. Pretty ribbon

4. Twist Ties

5. Tags

6. Sparkly Alpha Stickers (To put the kids initials on the tags)

7. "Marsh-Yellows" as my son likes to call them (just because the kids in my family adore them)

All you do is open up your piping bag and filler-up with the strawberry milk powder, leaving enough room for some "Marsh-yellows" and some room up top to tie it off and still have some of the bag to fluff. Add the Mallows and tie it off. Then on your tags write the words "LOVE MILK" and add the initial in the corner. I put the directions on the back of the tag.

And that is it!!!!

I added these sweet diddy's to small decorated paper bags that I also filled with a candy necklace craft, and a yummy heart shaped Lollipop and some vanilla dipped GIANT "MARSH_YELLOWS" on a stick. I will probably add some craft materials to make a Family Love Craft. I will keep you posted if I get that far! Enjoy and have fun!
